Nairobi, Kenya
We build and run internet products for East Africa.
Kivuko Labs is a product studio. We design, build, ship and operate consumer platforms — our own and our clients’. Three are live today.
What we do
Our own products
We start, fund and run platforms end to end — storytelling, comics retail, local discovery. Built for how people here actually use the internet: on a phone, on patchy data, paying in shillings.
Client builds
We take on a small number of outside projects and build them the way we build our own — scoped properly, shipped, then measured against something real rather than handed over and forgotten.
We stay after launch
A site that goes live and then rots isn’t finished. Everything we run stays under review — performance, uptime, dependency and security patching — for as long as it’s ours to run.
AI auto-replies
Assistants that answer a business’s customers on WhatsApp — prices, stock, hours, delivery — from that business’s own information, and hand the chat to a person when it should.

How we work
- Every product gets looked at every week — including the quiet ones.
- Never more than two in active build at once.
- We would rather tell you we are not working on something right now than let it rot quietly and call that maintenance.
